Beloved Hugh O’Brien, Greystones, Limerick passed away peacefully at his residence on January 3rd 2025, following a long illness bravely borne with great dignity. Late of Eircom and Campanologist, Redemptorist Church.

Predeceased by his loving wife Lily (nee O’Shea). Deeply regretted by his heartbroken daughters Mary (Griffin) and Emer (O’ Casaide), sons-in-laws Neil and Malachy, his adored 5 grandchildren Oden, Caden, Ryan, Isaac and Emily, sisters Breda and Sr. Kathleen, close cousin Gaybe, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Monday (6th January) from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Tuesday (7th January) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Craughaun Cemetery, Cratloe.
