CONGRATULATIONS CANON DES

We congratulate Canon Des who was appointed Canon by
Bishop Brendan Leahy this week. We also congratulate
him as he celebrates his Golden Jubilee, 50 years a priest
of the diocese of Limerick this weekend.
Canon Des was ordained in Thurles on 8 June 1974. During
his years in ministry he served as a curate in the Parishes
of Christ the King, Mungret, and Bruff. He also served as
P. P. to the parishes of St. Michaels and Christ the King
and as Administrator of Rockhill/Bruree Parish before
being appointed P.P. to Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in
2016.
