The death has occurred of

Sean (John) Kelly
Clareview, Limerick

Sean (John) Kelly, (Clareview, Limerick, and formerly Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick. Late of Mid-Western Health Board).

January 12th 2025 peacefully, after a short stay in the wonderful care of Milford Hospice, and the excellent care over the last few months in St John’s Hospital and University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Claire (Shanahan), loving sister Mary (Cronin), brothers Timmy & Eddie. Dearly Loved Dad of Fiona and Brian, he will also be sadly missed by son-in-law Greg, his adored grandchildren Sophie, Rubi, Jordan, Stephen and great-grandchild Jason. His extended Kelly, Flaherty, Shanahan and Walker families, his wonderful neighbours in Clareview & Kilkee and dear friends.

May he rest in Peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday (14th January) from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church on Wednesday (15th January) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

Jim (Timothy James) Collier (Ennis Road, Limerick and formerly of the South Circular Road. Late member of Foynes Yacht Club).

January 5th 2025 peacefully in the loving care of Corbally House Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of Terry. Dearly loved father of Susanne, Joe, Mark and Úna. Sadly missed by his loving sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his grandchildren Cameron, Clodagh, Killian, Keeva and Ross, brother Patrick, sisters Delo and Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, kind neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Beloved Hugh O’Brien, Greystones, Limerick passed away peacefully at his residence on January 3rd 2025, following a long illness bravely borne with great dignity. Late of Eircom and Campanologist, Redemptorist Church.

Predeceased by his loving wife Lily (nee O’Shea). Deeply regretted by his heartbroken daughters Mary (Griffin) and Emer (O’ Casaide), sons-in-laws Neil and Malachy, his adored 5 grandchildren Oden, Caden, Ryan, Isaac and Emily, sisters Breda and Sr. Kathleen, close cousin Gaybe, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.
