The Ordination of New Bishop of Limerick

The Diocese of Limerick has announced that Sunday, April 14th has been set as the date of the ordination of Fr Brendan Leahy as Bishop of Limerick.  The celebration at St John’s Cathedral will be the first ordination of a Bishop in the diocese since 1974 when Bishop Jeremiah Newman was ordained.  His successor, Bishop Donal Murray, was already ordained at the time of his installation.  Details for the ordination will be finalised over the coming weeks and will be advised accordingly.
